ScaryChimpHorror is a relentless horror experience where running is the only rule and hesitation is fatal. You are dropped into decaying, abandoned locations that feel wrong the moment you enter them. The air is heavy. The silence is loud. Every shadow feels alive. Somewhere in the darkness, monsters are waiting—and they already know you’re there.

Developed in Unity and currently still in development, ScaryChimpHorror is a Gorilla Tag fangame that uses intense GTAG-style movement to turn panic into gameplay. You move using your own arms, forcing you to physically climb, leap, and scramble away while fear throws off your rhythm. When your heart is racing and your hands start shaking, movement becomes harder—and the monsters take advantage of that.

There are no weapons.
There is no fighting back.
There is no winning.

Only escape.

The monsters in ScaryChimpHorror are not simple enemies. They stalk you. They listen to your movement. They appear when you feel safest and vanish when you need to see them most. Sometimes you’ll hear breathing right behind you. Sometimes you’ll hear footsteps that don’t belong to anyone. Sometimes the game goes quiet… too quiet… and that’s when you should be most afraid.

Each map is designed to make you feel lost and hunted. Flickering lights barely reveal what’s ahead. Long hallways stretch on forever. Tight spaces force you to move slower while something larger chases you from behind. Doors slam. Lights die. Paths you trusted suddenly lead nowhere. The environment itself feels hostile, like it wants you to fail.

The GTAG movement makes every chase terrifyingly personal. You don’t just press a button to run—you feel every escape attempt. Miss a jump. Slip on a wall. Hit the ground too hard. That single mistake is enough for the monsters to catch you. And when they do… you’ll know.

ScaryChimpHorror isn’t about jump scares alone. It’s about anticipation. The dread of knowing something is coming but not knowing when. The fear of turning around. The panic of hearing something close and realizing you’re trapped. Every second you survive feels stolen.
